New Blood Drive Coordinator Needed!

Sacred Heart hosts two Red Cross blood drives each year, one in January and one in July. It takes a team of parish volunteers to make each drive a success by recruiting donors, setting up for the drive, manning the sign-in table, and handing out drinks and snacks. Most importantly, one volunteer serves as a liaison with the Red Cross to make sure everyone is on the same page once the day of the drive arrives. We will be needing a new blood drive coordinator in advance of our January 2018 blood drive. If interested in taking on this role, please contact Christopher Rodgers at or 443-717-0642.

Our next parish blood drive will be in Saturday, January 27 from 7:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Mother Seton Room. We hope to see you there as we give the gift of life as a parish!

Blood Facts:

  • One donation can save or sustain up to 3 lives.

  • Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.

  • The number one reason donors say they give blood is because they "want to help others".

Volunteers: If you are unable to donate blood for any reason, would you please consider donating your time and volunteer at the blood drive for a couple of hours?

Thank you to everyone who donated blood or volunteered at our last parish blood drive!
