Small Christian Communities

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them."  Matthew 18:20

Do you...

  • Seek a deeper relationship with God?
  • Desire to meet people and make new friends?
  • Want the Sunday Scripture readings to come alive and apply them to your personal life?
  • Struggle to share your Catholic faith with your friends, family, and co-workers?

If so, then joining a Small Christian Community is for you!

Small groups are now forming for the fall. Please contact Michele Hunter at mhunter@shgparish.org to register and for more information. Dates and times will be determined when those interested in forming Small Groups register.

COFFEE

What is COFFEE?

Community COFFEEs are Conversations of Friends of Faith to encourage and Equip. We are women, so we know what conversations are, right! In addition, encouragement—well, we all need good doses of that to get through the complexities of daily life. As for equipping, one of the amazing results of Community COFFEE is that as we receive encouragement for ourselves, we become better equipped to encourage others as well.

Small groups are now forming using the teaching materials developed by Kim Crabill of Roses and Rainbows Ministries. Visit www.rosesandrainbows.org/products/teaching-series/ to see the exciting programs we will be offering.

The Mass — A Series Presented by Bishop Robert Barron

What is The Mass?

Walk through the Liturgy with Bishop Barron and be transformed through insights on this most privileged and intimate encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ.

See how the Mass brings us out of the fallen world and into the heavenly realm, how it resonates with a call from God and a response from his people, the Church, and, most importantly, how we are intimately joined with the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus through the Holy Eucharist.

The Mass will help you understand how to fully, consciously, and actively participate in the source and summit of the Christian life.
