LOCAL KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS - IMMACULATE LADY COUNCIL #5208 RECEIVES TOP AWARD Glyndon, MD
Knights of Columbus Council #5208 has received the distinction of Star
Council, the international organization’s top award for local councils.

The Star Council Award recognizes overall excellence in the areas of membership, promotion of fraternal insurance benefits, sponsorship of faith formation programs and service-oriented activities.
Immaculate lady Council has done numerous projects in support of the Parish and community in the last year. Community events such as; Ravens games concessions, Casseroles for “Our Daily Bread”. Donation of water to Fire Houses, Paper shredding, Honoring veterans and Building Serenity Garden Boxes for a local hospital. Parish events such as; Eucharistic adoration events and Respect life events. Our council supported school events such as; Breakfast with Santa, Trunk or Treat and dance, Father/Daughter cupcake Dance, and KCIC. And finally, the council supported charity fund donations such as; Tootsie Roll drives, the State raffle for scholarships raffle, Widow assistance, Veterans Donations and Christmas Family assistance.
