After many years of serving in our Parish Health Care Ministry and visiting those who are homebound or in hospitals or hospices, Sister Helen will be moving to Holy Cross Convent in Philadelphia in early July.

Confirmation Masses have been scheduled at Sacred Heart for July 25 and September 19. If your child has prepared for Confirmation in 2020, you can sign up for one of the Masses.

Effective September 1, Fr. Canisius Tah has been appointed Associate Pastor in Residence at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Pikesville, and the future Fr. Brendan Fitzgerald has been appointed Associate Pastor for Sacred Heart Parish. Seminarian Cornelius Ugwu has begun his pastoral year at Sacred Heart.

Monthly collection and delivery of Our Daily Bread casseroles has resumed on the 4th Wednesday of each month. Volunteers will collect your casseroles and/or dry goods donations by the back door of the school kitchen on Tuesday evening, June 23 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM and on Wednesday morning, June 24 from 7:30 – 9:00 AM.

After a very long wait, more than 100 parish children will receive their First Eucharist at upcoming parish Masses. Please keep these children and their families in your prayers.

The Knights of Columbus called on the nation’s Catholics to participate in a novena beginning June 7 to pray for national unity and an end to racism.

Father’s Day Spiritual Bouquet cards are available at the Parish Center, or you can make your request and offering online by June 17.  A Novena of Masses for these intentions will begin on Sunday, June 21.

There will be a Holy Hour for Life with Eucharistic Adoration at 7:00 PM on First Friday, June 5 in the Little Church.

Confessions will be heard on Saturdays in the Main Church from 3:00 – 4:00 PM in English and 5:30 – 6:45 PM in Spanish.

Baltimore’s religious leaders will join civic and community leaders in praying for justice and healing in the city during a June 3 gathering beginning at 6:00 PM outside St. Vincent de Paul in Baltimore. You can click to view the Facebook livestream.

Praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the dying, we will petition Jesus to enfold them in His Merciful Love in their final hours and grant them a strong experience of His consoling presence before they take their leave of this life.
